This Giving Tuesday, we’d like to share how Flatwater Group employees are making a direct and lasting difference in the Winnebago community.
The Ho-Chunk Way Employee Donation Program started several years ago to help employees live the company’s mission. Each year, an employee committee identifies a Winnebago community priority.
The Winnebago Youth Shelter is this year’s recipient. This critical program provides a safe space for children. Additional support services focus on creating hope and opportunity for youth through mental health counseling, advocacy, education and healthy lifestyles.
Participating employees choose to make a one-time or recurring donation through our payroll system. We look forward to presenting the first donation check early next year, which is helping with essential facility improvements.
Non-employees can also help. Our non-profit partner HoChunk Community Development Corporation is accepting Ho-Chunk Way donations for the Youth Shelter, and sends donor acknowledgements for tax purposes. Please message them for details.
